Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the Line of Arguments service, operated by Datexx e.U., Agerstrasse 20, A-4861 Schörfling am Attersee, Austria ("we", "us").
1. Service
Line of Arguments is a software-as-a-service application for training sales argumentation, including AI-generated cards, spaced-repetition training and AI sparring. The service is currently provided in a closed beta.
2. Accounts
Access is granted on an invitation/request basis. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Each seat is for a single named user.
3. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed per seat on a monthly basis via our payment provider (Paddle). Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled to the end of the current billing period. Prices are stated in Euro excluding VAT; VAT is added where applicable. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use & AI policy
The service — including the AI assistant and the AI "buyer" sparring simulation — is a tightly-scoped tool for professional B2B sales-argumentation training. You agree to use it only for that purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must not:
- use the service or its AI features to generate, request or disseminate unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, harassing, violent, sexual or otherwise harmful content;
- attempt to circumvent, manipulate or "jailbreak" the AI, its safety guardrails or input filters, or use prompt injection to elicit prohibited output;
- use the service for disinformation, scams, or manipulative, deceptive or unlawful sales practices, or to defraud or unfairly exploit any person;
- submit personal data of third parties without a lawful basis, or any content infringing intellectual-property, confidentiality or privacy rights;
- rely on AI output as legal, financial, medical or other professional advice — output is machine-generated, may be inaccurate, and must be reviewed by you before use;
- resell or redistribute the service, use it to build a competing product, scrape or extract data by automated means, or exceed fair-use AI limits;
- disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
You are responsible for all activity and content under your account. We may filter or block inputs and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, including immediately where necessary to prevent harm or to comply with law.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us the limited right to process it to provide the service, including transmission to AI sub-processors as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Availability & liability
The service is provided "as is" during beta without warranty of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Liability for indirect damages is excluded.
7. Data protection
Details on the processing of personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy.
8. Severability
Should individual provisions of these terms be or become invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
9. Governing law & jurisdiction
Austrian law applies exclusively. Place of performance is A-4861 Schörfling am Attersee. For consumers, these provisions apply only insofar as they do not conflict with mandatory consumer protection law.
